To kick off our HREF programming year, join us for an engaging discussion with several C-suite leaders about the business and employee impact of having a clear human-centered philosophy for an organization’s people strategy.

Employee experience is not just a buzzword – it is a differentiator as an employer and a factor contributing to the employer brand. Taking a human-centered approach – focused on empathy, the person, and the experience – can have a greater impact on employee retention by having a better understanding of employee needs and motivations. As HR leaders, balancing the employee experience with the financial costs and investments is also critical to get right.

Join us for a session of networking, followed by a panel moderated by HREF Board President, Angela Christman! Our features speakers include:

Mary Jayne Crocker is the Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer at Bridgewater Bank. In her current role, Mary Jayne is responsible for directing the implementation of all strategic initiatives, which has allowed her to establish an award-winning workplace culture that attracts and retains employees.

Briana Joyner is the Chief Human Resources and inclusion officer at the Minnesota Historical Society. She has shifted the perception and ways people interact with human resources by utilizing organizational development principles to challenge systemic oppression and develop anti-racist systems, structures, and behaviors.
